Notes from Pastor Trout March 14, 2010
Thank you for being in church today. I trust the services will be a blessing and an encouragement. The Bible teaches in Hebrews 2:25 that one of the reasons we are to assemble is to exhort one another. The word “exhort” means to encourage or to comfort. I pray that our meeting together today will be a time of encouragement to you. Let me challenge all of us to be involved with encouraging people; this can be in Sunday school, the youth group or Bible study. Whenever we are serving with someone, let’s make sure we are an encouragement. Life is too short to be involved with negative people. We must love everyone; let’s spend our lives encouraging and being encouraged. Thank you for all the encouragement that you give to me each and every Sunday, as you have for these twenty-two years.
We are delighted to have Brother Adams and the folks from our Deaf Revival as our guests this Sunday. It is a privilege to have them with us.
