Notes from Pastor Trout February 7, 2010
Ephesians 5:20 says, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”
It’s hard to give thanks for all things unless we claim Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
May God help us to get in the habit of being thankful. Remember to pace our day, praise God for who He is and for loving us, accept His love and forgiveness, yield control of our lives to Him, and expect it to be a great day!
When we think of the precious people in Haiti and what they are going through, God have mercy on us for grumbling.
Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus until we see him.
